Feather Jones has been a practicing Clinical Herbalist, ethical wildcrafter and medicine maker since 1982. She holds a certificate from the Santa Fe College of Natural Medicine as Clinical Herbalist and has a part time practice. Feather is now Adjunct Professor of Botanical Medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
In Boulder, Colorado, she founded and directed the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies, a state certified herbal occupational school housing one to three year programs in Western Herbalism. As well, Feather was twice past president for the American Herbalists Guild.
In 1982, Feather founded Turtle Island Herbs, a botanical extract company that now owned by Lotus Light and distributed throughout the US and Europe. Her latest projects include the development of Sedona Tea Blends, an organic herbal tea company.
An international lecturer, teacher and author, she is a strong animal rights activist and voice for the wild plants. Feather's love of the land has kept her close to the earth, she is an avid hiker and spends most of her free time exploring off trail to hidden ruins, magical side canyons and red rock overlooks of Sedona.
